Protecting Your Pet
Due to the rampant product recalls, adverse reactions and long-term health issues associated with a significant number of flea and tick prevention medications, we advise our Farmstead families to be vigilant when choosing a prevention plan for their current and/or future furry family members.
We do not recommend the use of prescription flea and tick medication unless absolutely necessary (i.e. you live in a heavily wooded area and/or plan to participate in frequent hunting/tracking/trail activities).
We encourage families to explore natural remedies and alternative maintenance plans.
We use Wondercide products for our pets, as well as our human family and garden/yard spaces!
